The gas gate valve is engineered for the strict leakage requirements of town gas, natural gas and LPG distribution networks. Sealing surfaces are precision lapped, stem packing is designed for low fugitive emissions, and every valve is individually tested with air under water at full rated pressure to guarantee zero leakage through the seat and gland. Coatings and materials are selected for long-term reliability in buried and above-ground gas mains.
